Restaurants Open Across Five US Communities

Several new restaurants are opening across the country, each with a distinct concept. Sweetwaters, a large waterfront restaurant in Fort Lauderdale’s newly renovated Huizenga Park, serves a broad menu spanning seafood, sushi, steaks and shareable dishes. Japanese chain Kusshi is expanding to Riverdale Park, Maryland, with premium sushi, Wagyu and an extensive sake and whiskey selection. Flower Child is opening its second Indiana location in Fishers, offering customizable bowls, salads and other fresh-focused meals. In San Luis Obispo, SLO Fish Co. combines a seafood market, restaurant and bar, sourcing fish directly from Central Coast boats, while a distillery is planned; and in Little River, South Carolina, family-owned Waterway Cafe adds breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside coffee and a full bar.
