Report: Wembanyama limits U.S. media interviews

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is reportedly limiting off-court interviews with U.S. media to 60 Minutes as he focuses on the coming season after the Spurs lost the NBA Finals to the New York Knicks in five games. ESPN reporter Michael C. Wright said the defeat affected Wembanyama, who believed San Antonio was the better team; Wembanyama has also described sleepless nights and difficult emotions while saying the team remains ambitious. The reported restriction appears to concern interviews and features rather than required media availability, and Wembanyama has continued to discuss basketball and the Finals loss publicly.
