PSG left-back Nuno Mendes expected to miss Barcelona clash with thigh injury

Paris Saint-Germain left-back Nuno Mendes is expected to miss Tuesday’s Champions League match against Barcelona after suffering a thigh muscle injury against Strasbourg. His absence leaves PSG needing a replacement to contend with Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, though reports differ on which defender may fill in. Barcelona also had several defenders under assessment after its match against Real Betis, including Eric Garcia, Jules Koundé and Gerard Martín, with their availability not confirmed in one report.
