PepsiCo India Posts Broad Growth as Firm Lowers Full-Year Forecast
PepsiCo posted third-quarter 2026 results on October 8, 2026. Net revenue rose 5.6% to $25.27 billion as organic revenue growth accelerated to 3.1%, its strongest since Q4 2023. International organic revenue growth hit 8%, highest since Q1 2024, and global snack volumes rose 4%, the best since 2021, with World Cup-related demand lifting Lay's sales abroad. India led an 11% Asia Pacific Foods unit volume rise and a 5% International Beverages Franchise unit volume rise. Frito-Lay North America snack volumes were flat and North America beverage volumes fell 2%. CEO Ramon Laguarta said the North America business "performed below our expectations" and called it a "meaningful opportunity for improvement." He said, "We are encouraged by the trajectory of our international business and its long runway for growth." He said PepsiCo would draw on international strength while working to lift North America's growth path. The company cut full-year core constant-currency EPS growth to 1%-2% from a prior low end of 4%-6% and core EPS growth to 2.5%-3.5% from a prior low end of 5%-7%.
