Oracle shares jump after Fusion Claw AI runtime launch
Oracle unveiled Fusion Claw, a governed agentic execution runtime for Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications, at an event in Austin, Texas. The launch added 25 Claw-powered agentic applications in finance, human resources, supply chain and sales, bringing the company's agentic applications portfolio to 75. The runtime runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and uses frontier models including Google Gemini and OpenAI models. Among the new applications are Ledger, Workforce Staffing, Shipping Consolidation and Account Territory Growth Plan. Oracle said organisations set objectives and guardrails through an Enterprise Operating Envelope, an Outcome Trust Harness applies controls to each run, and each completed process generates an Outcome Receipt. Oracle CEO Mike Sicilia said Fusion Claw moves customers from AI assistance to execution on complex business processes while people set objectives and guardrails. Deloitte Global CEO Joe Ucuzoglu said the firms are helping organisations move from isolated AI pilots to scaled adoption with governance and accountability. Google Cloud's Kevin Ichhpurani and IDC's Aly Pinder also issued statements on the launch. Oracle also announced a partnership with NetApp for an OCI NetApp Storage Service, with general availability targeted within 12 months. Outlets differed on the stock reaction: Crypto Briefing reported a 4.2% rise, 24/7 Wall St reported 5%, and Baha Breaking News reported 8%.
