NFL fines eight players across six teams

The NFL issued Week 4 fines to players across several games for infractions including unnecessary roughness, helmet use, taunting and illegal tackles. Washington’s Amik Robertson and Indianapolis’ Akeem Davis-Gaither were each fined $11,941; Seattle’s DeMarcus Lawrence was fined $17,911 for a low hit on Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, and Tennessee’s John Franklin-Myers was fined $12,537. Three Jets defenders—Dane Belton, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Darrell Jackson—received fines totaling $43,983, while New Orleans linebacker Isaiah Stalbird was fined $5,972 for improper use of his helmet.
