Nebraska to cut season-ticket prices for 85% of public seats in 2027

Nebraska Athletics says about 85% of comparable public season-ticket locations will cost less in 2027 as Memorial Stadium undergoes the Big Red Rebuild and fans are reseated. General-public season tickets will start at $299, down from $420, with about 5,000 seats at that price; roughly a quarter of seats will not require a priority seating contribution. The stadium’s capacity will be reduced to about 65,000 during the 2027 season, and fans will select seats again for 2028 after renovations. The department is also ending legacy contribution rates, changing how priority and total ticket costs are calculated.
