Anthropic reportedly offers Blackstone 10% yield on $60B AI chip deal

Anthropic has reportedly offered Blackstone a yield above 10% to anchor $9 billion of junior debt within a proposed $60 billion financing package for Google AI chips, backed by five-year lease payments. The deal would help fund a major expansion of AI computing capacity, but its high borrowing costs underscore investor concerns about the risks and scale of AI infrastructure spending; Reuters said it could not immediately verify the report.
