LPGA Announces 2027 Schedule With Record $147M Purses

The LPGA’s 2027 schedule features 33 tournaments and a record $147 million in prize money, with officials saying the calendar cuts about 12,000 miles of travel compared with 2026. The route groups the Asia swing and two Hawaii events before tournaments on the U.S. West Coast and the first major in Houston, giving players more opportunities to rest and recover. New tournaments include events in Hong Kong and Hawaii, while the Lotte Championship moves from fall to spring and will be played at Kapalua. The five majors will be held at Memorial Park in Houston, Inverness Club in Ohio, Congressional Country Club in Maryland, Evian Resort in France and Royal St. George’s in England, which will host the Women’s Open for the first time. Players praised the improved routing, higher purses and addition of prestigious venues.
