Juveniles arrested in firearm cases across three states
Authorities in Michigan arrested two 14-year-olds accused of breaking into a home in Prudenville and pointing a handgun at a 15-year-old; the victim’s father intervened, and prosecutors authorized multiple weapons and home-invasion charges. In Louisiana, two juveniles were arrested after investigators traced a stolen firearm to a 16-year-old student at LaGrange High School; a 15-year-old allegedly stole the gun and passed it to him, and both face charges. In Oshkosh, Wisconsin, police arrested two teens and a 46-year-old woman while investigating 33 reported vehicle thefts, including thefts involving three firearms; one officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the arrests. The teens face weapons and theft-related charges, and police urged residents to lock vehicles and secure firearms.
