Juvenile fights disrupt North Carolina, Tulsa fairs
The Carolina Classic Fair in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, closed about 15 minutes early Sunday after fights and disturbances involving groups of unsupervised juveniles overwhelmed officers. Police said roughly 50 people were removed from the fair, and later 20 to 30 juveniles who had left the grounds reportedly acted aggressively and vandalized a nearby business, prompting it to close temporarily. The incidents are under investigation, and police said criminal charges may be sought; officials did not report arrests or injuries in the provided accounts.
