Greenville Salvation Army Seeks Center for 2,500 Children
The Salvation Army of Greenville, South Carolina, is urgently seeking a temporary distribution center for its Angel Tree program, which aims to provide Christmas gifts to about 2,500 children. Without a location, the organization says it cannot recruit volunteers or begin matching children with donors. It needs a space of at least 40,000 square feet, with two working loading docks and parking for about 800 vehicles, ideally within 10 miles of its Greenville headquarters. The facility must be available from November 1 through December 21.
