TFS Financial had a higher analyst-implied upside than Cathay General Bancorp, but its 7.9% dividend yield came with a payout ratio exceeding earnings; Cathay had much greater institutional ownership and a lower payout ratio. First Financial Bancorp. had higher revenue and earnings and greater institutional ownership than ChoiceOne, while ChoiceOne offered a slightly higher dividend yield and a longer record of dividend increases. CF Bankshares was favored over VersaBank by analysts and on dividend yield, although both had low payout ratios.
