Fatal Crashes Investigated in Ontario, Texas, North Carolina

Authorities are investigating several fatal crashes in separate locations. In Norfolk County, Ontario, a passenger-vehicle driver died after a head-on collision with a commercial vehicle on Brantford Road; the commercial-vehicle driver was uninjured, and the road was closed during the investigation. Houston police reported three separate deaths: a 41-year-old motorcyclist who crashed after striking a curb, a 31-year-old driver whose Honda left the road and hit a power-line pole, and a 20-year-old pedestrian struck by a pickup whose driver allegedly failed to yield. In east Charlotte, police are investigating a fatal crash on Eastway Drive and have closed the road while detectives work at the scene.
