Julia Stiles Reunites With Co-Star for DWTS Tribute

Julia Stiles revisited her 2001 film Save the Last Dance on Dancing with the Stars’ Super Bowl Night, performing a jazz routine with partner Ezra Sosa to Jennifer Lopez’s “Jenny From the Block.” The routine blended ballet and hip-hop-inspired choreography and recreated moments from the film, including its chair sequence and Sara’s Juilliard audition dance. Former co-star Sean Patrick Thomas appeared during Stiles’ solo, echoing his character’s supportive presence in the movie. The pair scored 33 out of 40, their highest score to date; Stiles said she had wanted to revisit the dance for 25 years, and Thomas said he was “over the moon” to watch her perform.
