EMA Recommends Revolution Drug for Pancreatic Cancer
The European Medicines Agency’s advisory committee has recommended marketing authorization for Revolution Medicines’ Rasonque (daraxonrasib) for adults with metastatic pancreatic cancer who have received at least one prior systemic treatment. In a Phase 3 trial, the oral RAS-targeting drug nearly doubled median survival compared with chemotherapy, though the European Commission must still grant final approval before it can be sold in the EU. The recommendation followed an expedited review and would make Rasonque the EU’s first broad RAS-targeted treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer. The drug was approved in the United States in August 2026.
