Choirs Plan Fall Concerts Across US

Several community and school choirs are presenting concerts and performances this October. Lake Michigan College’s Concert Choir and the MSVMA District 6 Middle School Honors Choir will join for a free “Rivers & Roots” concert celebrating humanity’s connection to nature. Richland Center High School’s fall concert will feature its two choirs in ensemble and solo performances, while Gainesville’s First Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir will perform selected pieces at worship before appearing at the Florida American Choral Directors Association Fall Conference. The Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir’s “The Sound of Home” benefit concert and auction will celebrate its young singers and wider community while supporting financial assistance for participants.
