BYU-Notre Dame Expected to Have Weekend’s Priciest Tickets
The undefeated BYU–Notre Dame matchup in Provo has driven record-setting ticket prices, with reports putting the average purchase price at $627 and the cheapest available seats around $429–$450 as kickoff approached. Prices fluctuated across platforms, but the game ranked among the weekend’s most expensive college football tickets and, by one estimate, the fourth-most expensive live event in Utah history. The first top-10 matchup at LaVell Edwards Stadium carries major College Football Playoff implications for BYU and will draw ESPN’s College GameDay. Amid the high prices, lifelong BYU fan Jason Smith offered six tickets to three families who had never attended a home game together, receiving 324 submissions for the giveaway.
