Avelo Plans 11 Destinations From McKinney

Avelo Airlines plans to expand service from McKinney National Airport, adding twice-weekly flights to Sarasota/Bradenton beginning Dec. 16 and West Palm Beach beginning Dec. 17. The routes will bring Avelo’s McKinney network to 11 nonstop destinations, with the airport’s commercial operations scheduled to begin Nov. 11. Avelo also plans to increase its Las Vegas service from four to six weekly flights for the holiday season, citing strong demand between Las Vegas and North Texas. The Florida routes will compete with American Airlines, and fares are advertised from $69.
