Breeze Adds Routes From Maine and Connecticut With Fares From $49
Breeze Airways is expanding its U.S. network with new routes connecting regional airports to leisure destinations. Announced services include nonstop flights from Portland, Maine, and New Haven, Connecticut, to Myrtle Beach; routes from Buffalo to Raleigh-Durham, Myrtle Beach and Charleston, South Carolina; and one-stop, same-plane service from Fort Lauderdale to Burlington, Charleston, West Virginia, and Stewart-Newburgh, New York. Breeze also plans 11 additional nonstop routes from Myrtle Beach, bringing its network there to 25 destinations; several new routes are scheduled to begin in spring or summer 2027, with advertised one-way fares generally starting at $49 to $79. In Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Breeze will restore commercial service after Spirit Airlines ceased operations and left the airport without a carrier; flights to Myrtle Beach are listed to begin in February and Orlando in May, and an $850,000 federal grant helped attract an airline and requires restoring routes previously served by Spirit. The airport is also completing a major terminal expansion. Breeze plans twice-weekly nonstop flights between Charleston and Buffalo starting July 2, 2027, with fares from $69 one way.
