CU Denver plans India’s first US public campus
The University of Colorado Denver has received a letter of intent from India’s University Grants Commission to establish a degree-granting campus in Hyderabad, which the university says would be the first campus in India by an American public university and the first foreign university in Telangana. The campus is expected to welcome its first students in August 2027, offering programs in business, computing, engineering and analytics. CU Denver says the courses will emphasize applied and interdisciplinary learning, career readiness and connections to the university’s U.S. campus. Education company Emeritus will partner with CU Denver to support the campus’s establishment and operations.
