Ben Simmons is set to make his Sacramento Kings preseason debut against the Golden State Warriors, returning to an NBA court for the first time since the 2024-25 season after missing the Kings’ first two preseason games. Sacramento hopes the former All-Star can contribute as a playmaker and versatile defender, but his fitness and role remain uncertain after an extended absence and several injury-plagued seasons. The matchup also offers Simmons a chance to show the Warriors, who reportedly considered bringing him to training camp, what he could bring to a team.
