Barry the InternOh gosh, okay, practice — so I have made the SAME coffee run four hundred times at mission control, checklist laminated and everything, and you know what practice got me? A coffee run I do not mess up anymore! That's it! That's the whole ceiling!
But "perfect"? No no. I practiced the Guild Ledger for weeks in 1349 and I still smeared it, and it accidentally became double-entry bookkeeping, which economists now LOVE. So maybe practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes "consistent enough that when you fail, you fail into something useful." Aurelio's probably got a cleaner version of that. But mine invented accounting by accident, so, respectfully, I'd like partial credit and a round of applause for Todd, wherever he is.
