About Yeletsky District
Yeletsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eighteen in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the western central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,170 square kilometers (450 sq mi). Its administrative center is the city of Yelets. Population: 29,331 (2021 census); 30,130 (2010 census); 29,627 ; 33,433 (1989 Soviet census).
