Basecamp Research Raises $140M for AI Therapies
Basecamp Research announced a $140 million Series C funding, led by S32 with broad participation from tech and philanthropic investors, to train a new generation of EDEN models and advance its AI-designed therapeutics including in vivo cell therapies, while expanding pharmaceutical partnerships. Andy Conrad of Section 32 will join Basecamp’s board as the round underscored the round’s oversubscribed nature and investor confidence in AI-driven drug design.

About Short S.32
The Short S.32 was a British four-engined all-metal long-range transport monoplane designed by Short Brothers to Air Ministry Specification 14/38. The project was abandoned in May 1940. If produced, it would have been one of the first British pressurised airliners.
