About Charles H. Tenney
Charles Henry Tenney was the proprietor of C. H. Tenney & Co., established in 1868, and became one of the most successful commissioned merchant and hat dealers in the world. He was also a director of the Bank of the Manhattan Company and a life trustee of the Bowery Savings Bank.
