Wisconsin Students Receive 40,800 Automatic College Offers

Direct Admit Wisconsin has sent automatic admission offers to about 40,000 high school students for the 2027 academic year, including roughly 15,000 to 15,800 in the Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin region. Students entering senior year who meet participating Universities of Wisconsin campuses’ GPA and admission requirements can receive offers without submitting a traditional application; accepting an offer does not require them to attend. Now in its third year, the program includes more than 500 of the state’s 800 high schools, and officials say schools can still join for the next academic year.
