Vinhomes Plans 2,870-Hectare Transit-Linked City

Vinhomes is developing Vinhomes Green Paradise, a 2,870-hectare coastal urban area in Can Gio, southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, designed around reducing residents’ travel time. Planned transport links include a high-speed railway targeted to begin operating in late 2028, which is expected to connect the area to downtown in about 20 minutes, and road improvements projected to make the drive roughly 35 minutes. The development also plans schools, a hospital, offices and parks to bring more daily needs close to residents’ homes. The project’s promotional materials cite research associating longer commutes with lower life satisfaction, but the transit links and on-site facilities are still planned.
