U.S. Bank and Updation integrate payments into AI dealership platform

U.S. Bank and Updation are partnering to integrate bank-led payment capabilities into Updation’s AI-powered financial operations platform for automotive, truck, RV and powersports dealerships. The platform combines invoice and vendor management with payments to help dealers reduce manual work and improve visibility into spending and financial activity. Using U.S. Bank’s embedded payment solutions and a for-benefit-of account structure, funds will be held and moved through bank-managed infrastructure, strengthening controls while limiting Updation’s direct handling of customer funds. The collaboration will also give dealerships access to modern payment options, including real-time payments.
