Trump Says Super PAC Will Cover Cost of Patriotic TV Ads
President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social on Monday, October 5, 2026, that MAGA Inc. will pay for the administration's patriotic television ads. At least $10.1 million in taxpayer money had been spent as of Monday, per AdImpact, after more than $440,000 was reported spent the prior month. The White House created at least 13 campaign-style ads, including King of the Jungle featuring Trump, rallies, lions and eagles; God Made Trump; a UFC fight recap; and three on U.S. military operations in Iran and Venezuela not yet aired. Spots ran on Fox News, Newsmax, CBS, NBC, CNN, ABC and others marked Paid for by the U.S. government. Trump said the Radical Left is upset he was paying with U.S.A. money and that he had decided to "pay for them myself, and with money I raised for MAGA, Inc." The White House calls the spots public service announcements like Biden vaccine and Obama ACA ads, saying they are "very clearly not campaign ads," with "no call to action," and a reminder "to love their country." Public Citizen filed an FCC complaint arguing illegal use of government funds. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said last week he saw nothing "out of the ordinary" and called them a "normal PSA."
