Toss-Up Pennsylvania Race Spotlights Campaign Finance

Pennsylvania’s competitive 8th Congressional District race pits Republican incumbent Rob Bresnahan against Democrat Paige Cognetti and could affect control of the U.S. House. Cognetti has made campaign-finance reform part of her platform, while Bresnahan has not publicly stated a position on the issue. The candidates share support for banning members of Congress from trading stocks and imposing congressional term limits.
