Toronto FC rallies past Montreal 2-1 with two stoppage-time goals

Toronto FC rallied for a 2-1 win over CF Montreal in the 401 Derby, scoring twice in second-half stoppage time to keep its playoff hopes alive. Daniel Rios had put Montreal ahead in the 52nd minute with a rebound goal, but substitute Lewis Morgan equalized from a Niklas Dorsch cross before Djordje Mihailovic—formerly of Montreal—completed the comeback off a Theo Corbeanu pass. The victory ended Toronto’s three-game losing streak and extended its home unbeaten run to five matches. Toronto goalkeeper Luka Gavran left with an apparent leg injury, prompting club debutant William Yarbrough to come on.
