Strong earthquake jolts Davao Occidental, Mindanao

Separately, a magnitude 6.4 quake struck off Davao Occidental that afternoon, shaking communities across parts of Mindanao; authorities recorded intensities up to IV and said it was an aftershock of major June earthquakes.
