Stoller Foundation expands support for nonprofits through adoption of Mi Academy

Roderick Graves has described the Stoller Foundation goal of going beyond simple funding for the ministries it backs. The foundation supports more than 300 ministry partners across several countries with efforts to advance the Gospel and create lasting impact since its start in 2018. Mission Increase formed in 1999 to strengthen nonprofits through training in biblically based strategies for better effectiveness and fundraising. The group has now worked with more than 10,000 nonprofits in the United States and internationally. The new partnership centers on Mi Academy, an online platform that delivers training across eight specialties such as fundraising, leadership, communications, and organizational culture. Leaders receive practical tools they can apply right away in their work. Mi Advisor serves as a built-in artificial intelligence assistant that offers coaching during the learning process. It helps connect the training steps to actual tasks like planning fundraising efforts and writing donor communications. Geoff Rogers has noted that the Stoller Foundation approach shows how foundations can extend their reach past grantmaking by investing in the long-term strength of the groups they support. The access to Mi Academy is meant to improve fundraising practices and build greater organizational sustainability. Stoller grantees who live within driving distance of local area directors will also learn about Mi Core. This option adds in-person guidance and chances for peer learning to shape effective fundraising strategies and grow impact. The arrangement reflects growing use of the platform by organizations that want training shown to strengthen nonprofit leaders. Stoller grantees can now draw on these resources to improve their operations and reach more communities over time.
