New Rams kicker Blake Grupe injured his knee while tackling Cardinals returner Devin Duvernay on the kickoff after making a 44-yard field goal in his Los Angeles debut. The Rams ruled him doubtful to return, leaving punter Ethan Evans as the emergency kicker. Grupe had joined the team after Los Angeles waived Harrison Mevis following two missed field goals in its Week 5 loss to Buffalo, including a blocked overtime attempt. The injury compounds the Rams’ ongoing struggles with their special-teams unit and may leave the team needing another kicker for Week 7.
