Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has agreed to a fully guaranteed two-year, $44.2 million extension that begins in 2028-29 and includes a mutual option for 2029-30. The deal keeps the 28-year-old with the only NBA team he has played for. Pritchard, the 2024-25 Sixth Man of the Year, averaged career highs of 17 points, 5.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game in 2025-26, starting 50 of 79 games.
