Sarasota Pride Festival Plans October Street Celebration

Sarasota’s free, all-ages Gulfcoast Pride Festival and Street Party will take over the Rosemary District on October 24, with activities at Pride Plaza and Overton Square. The event will feature a new Community Stage, vendors, food, family activities, performances, and exhibits, followed by a DJ-led street party from 8 to 11 p.m. Organizers say the October celebration recognizes LGBT History Month and aims to foster belonging and community.
