Restaurants Highlight Steak, Sushi, Seafood Offerings

Beef and steak are the focus of several food offerings, from a community tasting event to new and established restaurants. Gothenburg’s 2026 Beef & Wine event is scheduled for Nov. 7 and will feature a Taste of Hawaii. In Providence, Chow Fun Food Group plans to replace Ten Prime Seafood with CUT 123, a two-level concept pairing an affordable sirloin-focused steakhouse with an izakaya-style sushi lounge; it is slated to open in November. Grand Rapids’ Butcher’s Union is profiled as a destination for ribeye and other steakhouse fare, while Honolulu’s Marujuu serves Japanese hambagu and steaks sizzling on an iron plate.
