PROCEPT Suit Sets September 22 Lead-Plaintiff Deadline

Multiple law firms are notifying investors who purchased PROCEPT BioRobotics securities between February 28, 2024, and February 25, 2026, about a pending securities class action and a September 22, 2026, deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. The complaints allege that Procept used undisclosed discounts to encourage customers to place bulk handpiece orders beyond procedure demand, artificially inflating reported sales and revenue while pulling future sales forward. They further allege that the practice created more than 10,000 excess handpiece units in customer inventories and led the company to overstate handpiece sales, system utilization, and related financial guidance. The allegations follow Procept’s February 25, 2026, disclosure that handpiece sales had exceeded procedures in every quarter since early 2023 and that U.S. sales had subsequently declined; the claims have not been resolved in court.
