Florida Man Accused of Impersonating ICE, Intimidating Voters

Danilo Alves Silva, 46, was arrested at Miami Dade College’s Kendall campus after allegedly wearing ICE-style clothing and tactical gear while pacing around a polling site for Brazil’s presidential election. Authorities said voters appeared frightened that an immigration agent was interfering with voting or might deport them. Silva reportedly acknowledged he was not an agent, called the outfit a costume, and said he changed into it after voting to record people’s reactions. Authorities also allege he threatened officers and offered them money to release him. He faces charges including voter intimidation, conspiracy to commit bribery and unlawful use of a police badge.
