Pokémon TCG Releases 30th-Anniversary Classic Reprints

Pokémon’s 30th anniversary is bringing renewed attention to the Trading Card Game’s history through a Classic Collection of reprints, whose featured cards span eras and include both competitive standouts and memorable artwork. The collection revisits cards such as Sneasel, once so powerful it was banned from the Modified format, Delcatty, a major draw engine, and N, a highly influential Supporter; newer reprints can also be far less expensive than original versions. Collectors are also drawn to scarce Japanese promotional cards, many featuring Pikachu, that can sell for thousands of dollars. A new Santa Cruz skateboard line extends the celebration with randomized decks depicting iconic cards from the TCG’s history, including chase designs.
