Nordex Q3 Orders Rise 29.5% to 2.8 GW

Nordex booked 2,810 MW of Projects-segment orders in the third quarter of 2026, up 29.5% from 2,170 MW a year earlier, according to figures released October 12, 2026. Nine-month orders totaled 7,733 MW, up 16.1% from 6,661 MW. Customers ordered 427 wind turbines across 10 countries, with Türkiye, Germany and the United States the strongest markets. Türkiye accounted for more than 900 MW in the quarter, and U.S. orders exceeded 1.3 GW in the first nine months. CEO José Luis Blanco said, "Our order intake is becoming more globally diversified, and the third quarter confirms this." He said, "We expect the international share to keep growing as we convert our pipeline in the coming quarters, while order momentum in Europe and Germany remains strong." The Q3 average sales price was €0.90 million per MW, down from €0.93 million a year earlier; the nine-month ASP was €0.93 million per MW, up from €0.92 million. Nordex attributed the changes to project scope and regional mix and said pricing remained stable. Nordex has commissioned more than 64 GW of capacity across over 40 markets since 1985, generated about €7.6 billion in 2025 sales, and employs more than 11,100 people. CONTESTED: none identified.
