NEAS Installs Rapid Charger, Expands Ambulance EV Network

Electric-vehicle charging networks are expanding in Qatar, the U.K. and the United States, with projects aimed at supporting cleaner transportation. Qatar’s Kahramaa is adding charging stations and offering an app that helps drivers find compatible chargers and check availability in real time. In northeast England, a rapid charger at North Tees hospital adds to infrastructure for the North East Ambulance Service as it prepares for electric ambulances, backed by public funding for additional charging ports. Springfield, Illinois, has completed a federally funded project adding 40 Level 2 charging ports across the city.
