Missing People Found Safe Across Searches

Several missing people were found safe in separate searches. In Oklahoma City, a man who had been the subject of a search near a waterway contacted authorities after seeing news coverage; he said he had reached safety by grabbing a tree. Search-and-rescue crews in Douglas County, Oregon, used a drone to find a missing 73-year-old Roseburg man on a steep slope. In Pitt County, North Carolina, 68-year-old Ismael Perez was found after being reported missing earlier in the week.
