Hiking Routes Showcase Landscapes Across UK, US

The newly opened 100-mile South Hams Way in Devon links coast, countryside, estuaries and Dartmoor, offering walkers a varied circular route that can be tackled in sections. Other featured walks range from the easy trail to Scotland’s Fairy Pools on Skye to Connecticut’s mostly level Nancy Conklin Nature Trail, which follows two rivers. In County Durham, Hardwick Park offers a circular lakeside and woodland walk past historic follies, with accessible routes and family amenities. The Cleveland Way combines heather moors, farms and woods with dramatic coastal scenery along a 50-mile stretch between Saltburn and Filey, and remains a popular long-distance trail.
