Kamala Harris has not decided whether to seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028 and is signaling that she will make the decision on her own timetable, likely after focusing on the 2026 midterm elections. She is maintaining a relatively low profile, making calls to Democratic activists, posting occasional videos supporting Democrats and criticizing President Donald Trump, and avoiding the major policy speeches, donor outreach and campaign infrastructure typically associated with a presidential bid.
