Halloween Events Bring Costumes, Activities to Children
Spirit Halloween partnered with children’s hospitals in Spokane and Little Rock to bring Halloween festivities to young patients, providing costumes, activity kits and opportunities for families to enjoy a break from hospital routines. In Spokane, the event served 62 families and nearly 300 people, and the organizations’ partnership has raised more than $1 million for Shriners Children’s Spokane since 2007. Arkansas Children’s Hospital has participated in Spirit of Children for 19 years. A separate Halloween feature also highlighted festivities for patients at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin.
