Four Men Reportedly Beaten to Death Across Regions

A 92-year-old man, Larry Salisbury, was found dead with blunt-force injuries inside his Baton Rouge home on Monday evening, and police are investigating the killing. Court records show a protective order against his son, Bruce Salisbury, and that Bruce pleaded guilty last month to domestic abuse battery against his father, receiving a six-month sentence with time served and a year of unsupervised probation. Sources told WAFB that a man identified as the victim’s son was detained after a police chase, but authorities had not announced an arrest or publicly named a suspect as of Tuesday afternoon.
