Ford Offers 380-HP V6 Beyond Bronco Raptor

For 2027, Ford is expanding availability of the Bronco Raptor’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 to the Outer Banks, Badlands and Heritage trims, while the new Filson Edition gets it standard. In those models, the engine makes 380 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque, compared with the Raptor’s 418 horsepower and the existing 2.7-liter V6’s 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet. The 3.0-liter pairs with four-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic, but it does not make these trims equivalent to the Raptor, which retains distinct suspension, chassis and cooling hardware. Ford has not announced pricing for the engine option; the Filson is expected to start in the mid-$70,000s and combines the engine with the Sasquatch package and exclusive styling and materials.
