FireFly Robotics Files for Proposed Nasdaq Direct Listing

FireFly Robotics, a Salt Lake City maker of autonomous all-electric turf equipment founded in 2010, filed a Form S-1 with the SEC on October 7, 2026 for a proposed Nasdaq Global Market direct listing under ticker FFLY. Existing stockholders may resell up to about 27.1 million shares. The company will not sell shares or receive proceeds. The listing depends on SEC effectiveness and Nasdaq approval. Chardan is financial advisor. The move follows withdrawal months earlier of an IPO proposal, announced about a year before, that would have raised as much as $29.3 million by selling new shares. In June 2026 the company renamed from FireFly Automatix to FireFly Robotics. CEO Andrew Limpert said the name "more accurately aligns with the robotic technology we are deploying across the world" and that FireFly is "at our core, a robotics company," pointing to its Autonomous Mowing Platform for golf courses, sports turf, and premium turf growers. Rated coverage is one center outlet and none on the left or right. No factual disputes appear in the record. The filing is not yet effective.
